# Remove Gateway

`DELETE` `/tenants/gateways/{id}`

Operation ID: `GatewaysController_delete`

Permanently removes a gateway from the tenant. This operation will disconnect all associated resources and may impact network connectivity. Ensure all resources are reassigned to other gateways before deletion.

## Path parameters

- `id` (string, uuid, required) - The unique identifier (UUID) of the gateway to delete

## Responses

- `204` - Successfully deleted the gateway
- `401` - Unauthorized - Invalid or missing authentication token
- `403` - Forbidden - Insufficient permissions to perform this operation.
- `404` - Gateway not found with the provided ID
